This blog is a mix of things with a few common themes running throughout. Those
themes are direct from my life and experience: poverty, employment, economics,
politics and education. My life growing up in a smaller community in Northern
Ontario hit hard by recessions, economic downturns, and shifts in the local
economy, my efforts to navigate an employment landscape experiencing dramatic
change, and my realization, through personal and professional experience, that
life-long learning is the key to survival, all influence this blog. What you
will find here is a collection of information and personal reflections on these
themes.
